problem configuring sb16 and alsa

If you are running Debian apt-get install hwtools
or check for a hwtools package for Redhat or slackware if you run those.
Ok so basic didn't help try
./configure --with-debug=full
for alsa that will give more information.
Scanport will tell us if the ports are showing up in the address space under Linux.
