PC Speaker synth for Speakup?

Hi all. I also did find such a program for dos that was a candid camera type program. Very humorous, and it outputted a pretty understandable voice to the pc speaker. I just don't know exactly how it did this. Possibly doing the equivalent of catting all standard input to /dev/speaker.
