dosemu; com ports: lock file is the apparent problem

Hi all!
I just got an email from the maintainer, sent to debian-user and to me, and I
ran dosemu with the -D+a -o file option. The problem seems to be that "only suid
root can create lock files!" I thought I got around this by being part of
dialout, but this aparently doesn't carry over to dosemu. have written to
debian-user and Herbert Xu about this. If anybody on this list knows of a way
around it, though, take your best shot!
