playing dvd movies from console

I set it up for Deedra, and you can use mplayer, see http://mplayerhq.hu
(The website is pretty graphical, and I dont think there are any text
based alternatives to it.) You need to compile and build it yourself,
which is not trivial, you need some knowledge of at least how to install
libraries, and programs using configure and make scripts. If you get
everything working, just use the null video output, and you can get a
sound-only version in the console.

If you need help with installing, reply to me privatly and we wont flood
the list, or if there is interest for it on the list, I can ofcourse write
down a little installation guide how to install everything needed.
