Sounds like a dns issue. nslookup rainmaker.wunderground.com applied here 
yields:


rainmaker.wunderground.com      canonical name = 
blackbird.wunderground.com.
Name:   blackbird.wunderground.com
Address: 66.28.69.161


which sounds good, because my telnet begins:
