mp3/ogg to music cd format

No mpg123 and oggdec can decode to .wav files.
This means they do not "play at normal speed" at all;
they decode as fast as the cpu can handle and the i/o bandwidth allows.
You will get big .wav files nice and quickly.
I would use lame to decode mp3 files or mpg123 (or in fact
mpg321 since mad supports more mpeg layers/vbr)
and oggdec for ogg files.
You can then burn the .wav files onto cd with cdrecord if you don't mind
2 second pregaps or burn in disk at once mode;
or use cdrdao.

Regards, Kerry.
