General question about Linux

Some of the useful enhancements include tab key filename completion, just 
as with bash, enhanced directory listings that support lovely commands 
like ls -lrt, mget that understands what files may have already been 
downloaded and resumes aborted downloads, bookmarks, etc., etc.
