cddb

That's one of the reasons I went back to using cdcd to play and label my
CD's. It works great with the default of freedb.org and I just used the
.cddb directory to extract the information for other uses. The only
draw-back is once the data has been downloaded and saved on your disk,
there is no easy way for cdcd to display the disc ID for other uses. I
have thought of modifying cdcd so that field could be displayed on follow
up inqueries as well as when it is shown for the first time. This mod has
gon into my loooooong queue:).
