installing slackware 8.0 with speakup

Well, that depends on your preference. If you want to boot from the hard drive, run "liloconfig" to set things up, and run "lilo" afterwords to install lilo to your hd. If you want to boot into windows right away like you're used to doing, then boot linux from a floppy.
