eliminating lilo from the boot record

Hi, you are correct,
boot to dos and type fdisk/mbr about 5-6 times
this will ensure that your master boot record is rebuilt for dos/windows
only.
I've had to do this a few times but, it's not a good idea to do it if your
worried or unsure at all or you just don't know what you're doing because
it may have disasterous results.
