APM

	Hello
I have an old IBM aptiva and have some questions about power saving mode.
I can issue the command
apm --standby
and the machine drops in to power saving mode, but with in five minutes
comes back up
how can I keep it from doing that, is there some kernel option I should
include/exclude to prevent this behavior?
