Installing Debian with Speakup

I now have:


c d linux
 dosutils\loadlin linux speakup_synth=decext root=/dev/ram initrd=images-1.44/root.bin disksize=1.44

And still no speech. When I run the file I get a message to insert a floppy. After pressing enter I see Tucks the Penguin with a page full of text and after about a few seconds I get a pop up window.
