Hello, Most distributions ship with lynx, pine, telnet, ftp, and other net applications. For anything else you might want, there are repositories such as "rpmfind" for packages in the 'RPM' (redhat package manager) format. There are many irc clients here; I'm using epic, and have seen bitchx and a few others. -Dave
