I don't think there's an all-in-one program like Real Jukebox that works in text mode under Linux. Instead, you need to use these smaller programs:

mpg123: small, fast MP3 player with no GUI; included with most Linux
distributions

cdparanoia: rips CD tracks and saves them as WAV files with good error
checking; included with most Linux distributions

cdcd: best command-driven CD player I've found yet; available at
http://libcdaudio.sourceforge.net/

lame: free MP3 encoder; available at http://www.mp3dev.org/mp3/

abcde: stands for "A Better CD Encoder"; a convenient interface to
cdparanoia, lame (as well as some other encoders), and a CDDB-compatible
database; available at http://lly.org/~rcw/abcde/page/

I hope this helps.
