speakup and VI

If you press the numpad star the arrow keys should work fine.
I do it all the time under pine, Emacs, pico, and other apps and the regular
arrows work fine once curser tracking is on.
I'm not sure of which version of Speakup you are using, but I am using the
one that comes shipped with Slackware 8 and it does track pretty well in
apps.
If you are pressing the up, down, left, and right arrows without hering
anything the curser is moving but Speakup isn't simply reading the text. The
star key usually has Speakup catch up with the curser, and reads were the
curser is with the regular arrows.
