Got 2.4.13 Working Now.

I guess the patch from 2.4.12 up to 13 must be bad or something. I used
the patches from 2.4.9 to 12 and that all worked fine. Then I had the
problems reported this weekend when trying to go to 13. I started with a
fresh tar ball from 2.4.13 today and followed the same steps as before
including the .config previously used and got the one prompt I mentioned
in another message; that was probably added with 2.4.13 - no problem
there. It compile ok and I am now using that version.

Bottom line: the patch is bad or got dammaged with a download. The
kernel-patch script didn't mention any errors though. Makes me wonder how
good the patches are. Usually it is a nice easy efficient way to upgrade
kernels without the huge download.
