Major modification to Speakup

He said the driver was selectable at *boot* time.
This would indicate that you'd need to *reboot* to change the speech driver.
Speech driver chosen by a *boot time argument*
please read; it makes all our lives easier.
No you can't come up with no speech and enable it later.
