pdf and/or ps converter/translater????

Hello All:

I'll go ahead and apologize beforehand.  I know this is already a dead
horse.  However, I don't know what happened to the email I saved concerning
this.  MS Look Out  really bugs me.  One of these days I'll move my speakup
list subscription to my home linux machine.

Anyway, what is the prefered pdf and/or ps translater to ascii that everyone
likes?
