The isos are cd images
that could be burned with cdrecord under Linux or a program
like easy cd creator under windows.
You can get slackware 8.0 isos from:
ftp://ftp.slackware.com/pub/slackware/slackware-8.0/isos/
.
In this directory, install.iso contains the slackware 8.0 install cd.
extra.iso contains various kinds of usefull packages that don't come with the install cd, and that you don't really need if you just
want to try out slackware.
source.iso contains any other source code besides the source code available on the install cd.
