redhat 7.1 bootdisks

Do you have to have both of them to use it, I was thinking of doing it,
using ftp explorer as it allows me to rezume when I want to and stop, and
what would I do when I burn them and boot with this CD in, this new mother
board I have now allows me to boot CD's, the old one never did.
