redhat 6.2 unresolved module symbols problem

First run make config or make menuconfig. Repeat, run the
configuration. You tried to run an unknown configuration and it blew
up. The only logical thing to do next is to actually configure your
kernel.
Next if that fails, go get the whole kernel source. You can cry all you
want about what is supposed to work. If it doesn't work, don't come saying
I got some sort of error message and wonder why. At the very least you
should have a sample of what unresolved symbols you are recieving error
messages on. In short, an unresolved symbol is an indication that
something isn't there. If something is missing the logical thing to do is
put it into place.
