Lost system files or are they?

I made a serendipitous discovery and I thought I'd share it in case any of
you experience this  when upgrading from Redhat 6.1 to Redhat 6.2.  I was
rather upset when I made the upgrade because many of my scripts had been
overwritten.  Well, when looking for something else I discovered that they
had all been renamed with a .rpmsave.  Just thought all you Redhat people
would want to know this in case you didn't already.
