Still no speech with Doubletalk LT

Hi, on the p 133 computer I have I had to go in to cmos and set the serial
port.  data bits stop bps and that.  previously it was set to auto, but that
didn't work.  Check this and I know you want 9600 bod set.

Greetings, I am trying to get the Zipspeak package working with my
DoubleTalk LT synthesizer on com1, but am not having much success.  It
was suggested that I append the speakup_ser]0 statement when starting
the kernel, but this did not make any difference.  When should I first
start hearnig speech?  Whatelse could I be doing wrong?
