When you are superuser your current workind directory is not on the
command path, so you would have to type "./a.out" to execute the
program. You should probably give the executable file an explicit name,
like this:
g++ [switches] -o progname progname.c
Your source code is "progname.c" and "progname" ends up contai;ning the
executable instead of "a.out"
