Actually, Pine *does* support the inferior pop3 protocol. Just put the
parameter /pop3 after the name of the mailserver just to the left of the
right brace. For example: {pop1.prserv.net/pop3}. Another handy
parameter
is the /user parm that can be put at the end of the above mentioned. EG
{pop1.prserv.net/pop3/user=wacker}. That way, you'll only be prompted for
the password.
