talking lilo prompt?

Hi Jim,
I am not using either serial port; the doubletalk pc is an internal isa
card. Do you know if I can still get lilo to talk?

You can get a talking lilo prompt by placing
the following line near the top of your lilo.conf file:
serial=0,9600N8
That assumes you are using COM1 i.e. /dev/ttyS0. If you are using com2
try:
serial=1,9600N8
